who we are

We are the workers, hustlers, dreamers, fighters, artists, makers, sharers, blessed, housed, hopeful, hopeless, hurting, caring, people in this country. We are strong alone. But We are stronger when We are together.

WE ARE THE PEOPLE

what we stand for

DEMAND YOUR DIGNITY

We all deserve a life of dignity. Hurdles of humilation, created by systems built explicitely to exclude a lot of people from their access to the full legal Rights provided by the Constitution. These systems were transformed over time, but never fixed. Now is the time that We demand that liberty, justice, and human dignity be living values in this nation.

At a time when housing, groceries, leisure, and more are increasingly harder to pay for, those with the most money and the most power are running away with the bag. Our bag. If the ultra wealthy and the mega corporations are going to enrich themselves using Our roads, Our highways, Our bridges, Our trains, Our infrastructure, Our hands, Our minds, Our data, then We the People must be appropriately compensated by taxing their large amounts of wealth.

MOVE THE MONEY

No one deserves housing with failing heat, leaking roofs, darkened hallways, malfunctioning appliances, and absentee landlords. No one has to, yet so many of Us do. Poverty is a failure of policy and a failure of leadership. More and more of us, our neighbors or our loved ones are unemployed, under-paid, and under-served in an age that can offer a life of promise to all. We must finance a floor, below which, no one in this country can fall.

RAISE THE FLOOR

lead with love

It is not always easy to do when fighting systems designed to divide Us using Our fear and hate. The counter-spell is Love.

When We win this moment, it will be because We did it together.
